The Scottish Pink Floyd Rehearse for 50th Anniversary Tour of Wish You Were Here

Updated: Apr 17

In a haze of synths, soaring guitars, and nostalgic energy, The Scottish Pink Floyd are deep in rehearsal for their upcoming Wish You Were Here 50th anniversary tour. The band will perform the iconic Pink Floyd album in its entirety, honouring one of Pink Floyd’s most beloved records.

New lead guitarist David has quickly won the band over, his tone and touch remarkably reminiscent of David Gilmour's unmistakable feel. Meanwhile, keyboardist Rohan is meticulously recreating every vintage synth and texture, capturing the atmospheric soundscapes that defined the original album.

“We’re all buzzing to bring this masterpiece to life,” says the band, who are also set to include a selection of Floyd fan favourites spanning several albums in their setlist.

With confirmed dates in Glasgow and Dunoon this July, the buzz is building—and more shows are expected to follow. For fans of Pink Floyd, this is a trip worth taking. Tickets for the Glasgow are on sale here. Tickets for Dunoon will be on sale soon!
