Dougie began his drumming journey at the age of 14, quickly developing a natural feel for rhythm and performance. By 16, he was already taking to the stage for his first live shows, marking the start of a lifelong commitment to music. A devoted Pink Floyd fan, Dougie has seen Roger Waters, David Gilmour, and Richard Wright live, experiences that have deeply influenced his playing and his appreciation for the band’s iconic sound.

Throughout his career, Dougie has performed with several original bands. His work has led him to support a number of major acts, including the Kaiser Chiefs, the Average White Band, and Alabama 3—the latter during the opening night of the London Olympics, a standout moment in his musical journey.
